schedule is opening up...

today was really long day working hard at the Century Center (a convention center in South Bend). The day went really slow but eventually 5pm rolled around and we had already set up this hugh mount of sounde equipment, (huge as in the mix board alone was the size of a 6' table)and then the band showed up which was Dr. Duke Tumatoe & The Power Trio. they are on Bob and Tom alot they are really good, old but good. they played Jazz, blues, rock and even a little surf-style music.

they rocked and the crowd really got into it and sang along to some of the songs and danced and everyone was drinking. it rocked. i wish mandy was there first of all cause i wanted to dance and have fun too and i didnt want to dance with all the girls there i wanted mandy and second of all i found tonight that that type of music, at least the songs with a good bass line, are really HOT to dance to. Never thought i would think that. To clearify, club music which we all think of as sexy dancing is easy to dance to, they just rub up on each other; swing is hot but not really sexy, more fun type; rock you can head bang to...eh; this tonight i wouldnt think normally could be sexy at all but those who knew what they were doing out there were really entertaining to watch. Also we were entertained by three 60 year old women that were drunk and trying to dance sexy for this man by using the pole he stood nexdt to...except he was a midgit and it was creepy old women.

anyways this week i had great hours but next week i only work wed. and sat. so i am getting out of town and going to muncie, noblesville or indy....not sure where yet but i am meeting up with Jess, Dana, Bry and Tanya. it should be fun and i need to get ot and have a little fun too. I really have been left out latey; mandy is partying in Mexico, Rob just went out of town to get "funky", megs is doing who knows what, who knows where, and i have been here working. so i figured "mini-vacation".
